We’re excited to announce that Hillsboro Aero Academy will once again be at AERO Friedrichshafen this year! The expo takes place from April 9 to April 12, 2025, at the Friedrichshafen Exhibition Grounds. Whether you’re interested in helicopter or airplane training, AERO is a fantastic opportunity to meet our team in person and learn everything about a career as a pilot.
Two Booths – Double the Opportunities to Meet Us
At AERO Friedrichshafen 2025, you’ll find us at two locations:
- In the Helicopter Hall B5
- In the West Foyer
Our on-site team includes experienced flight instructors, our VP of Helicopter Operations, and our European Representative, Phil Haupt. We’re here to answer all your questions, whether about training, requirements, or career opportunities as a pilot in the USA and Europe.
Why AERO Friedrichshafen is Special to Us
AERO 2025 is a real highlight for us as we celebrate our 45th anniversary this year. Since our founding in 1980, we’ve trained over 15,000 pilots, many of whom now have exciting careers in aviation—as airline pilots, helicopter pilots, or rescue pilots.
We’re especially proud to welcome two of our alumni at this year’s expo who are now rescue pilots with ADAC Luftrettung. They’ll be sharing their experiences and giving you insights into the journey from Hillsboro graduate to rescue pilot.
